1) Yes I would like to have control of
the amount the screen moves for
an up arrow or down arrow key press.
There is also a scroll mode when the
key is held down. Can this rate also
easily be changed?

Sorry I can not reproduce the things
I saw when I held the Ctlr key with
one of the arrow keys. I think it keep
scrolling even when no key was pressed.
Let´s not worry about this.

2) Yes let´s see if I understand so that
we can load multiple images easily to
an existing board in progress.
A) Template boards are created that can
be exported as a full (Backup) and reworked.
B) Then these boards can be merged into
existing boards. After merging all elements
from the template must remain selectable,
scalable and able to be copied and moved.
C) This word template may be confusing.
Some may think of a template as used to
start a new blank project. Similar to the
terminology of Dia how about considering
them ¨Resource Sheets¨?
D) When brought in we must be able to
move the sheet to a clear area so it does
not overlie the master board in progress.
E) Creating these sheets may take some
work but worth the effort if they can be
reused, shared and merged into
existing boards.
Loading multiple files would be nice
but all the images would be piled on
top of each other and very difficult to
sort out. So forget this idea unless you
can easily load them spaced out.

Arrow keys and Page down.

If you hit any arrow key, the canvas moves in the opposite direction with a certain fixed amount with animation. It is a small task to provide a control on this amount, I can undertake is for one-time 5 USD. Again, if you order it now, we can release this weekend.

When you hit the arrow keys repeatedly the previous animation is interrupted and new animation is started. Is this you refer as jumpy?

If you hit Page Down or Page Up, the canvas moves down or up as much as your screen height with animation. On Mac OS, Page Down = cmd + down arrow. I don't know what Ctrl + arrow actually does on your system.

Simultaneous joiners.

There is no technical limitation on the number how many people joins a board with Mirror View. It is a business issue. We don't want to protect our server, but want to charge the Pro user based on a special Pro license.

Enhanced Quick Access.

This is not a small task at all. First of all let's forget zip, it is to dangerous. I can change the permission such that you can pick multiple images at once. I can imagine something like this workflow:

1. You create an empty new board.

2. You insert as many images as you want and organize them as you want.

3. When you are done, you can save and mark this group of images by one name.

4. You can close this 'template' board, even you can delete it.

5. You open your real board.

6. You can load the named group of images displayed at the same positions as they were saved.

We in the US have had our labor
(worker´s) day celebration and
now schools are starting and
now we are getting back to work.
The next week I will spend at
a music competition and festival.

Here are a few more thoughts.
For our own use, the first
is of most interest.

1) Enhanced Quick Access
Provided it is easy to implement
a convenient enhancement will:
A) When a .zip file is uploaded
from ¨Insert Image PDF or Zip¨,
the file is rejected to too large,
unzipped and only image files kept.
B) The current Quick Access files
are erased.
C) The allowed files from the zip
are placed in Quick Access list.
D) When ¨Select Image¨ is clicked
the list is displayed alphabetised.
E) Save to quick access will work
the same and insert files one by
one into the alphabetised list.

Image sets can be quickly loaded.
They need not be on all device.

2) Music Score Reading
The sheet music scrolls nicely
with the up and down arrow keys.
They are set almost perfectly now
but you may need to have an option
to allow how much of the page
advances with on a key stroke.

Several double foot pedals exist.
I find my PageFlip Firefly great
but I see now Dragonfly
offers 4 key functions.
Either BlueTooth or USB is supported.
There is a built in repeat function.
I see Ziteboard allow automatic
scrolling started with Ctrl Arrow
but it is jumpy and causes problems.

I find Ziteboard superior to
playing from PDF files since
PDFs often jump at page boundaries,
I can place the pages on Ziteboard
in one continuous image. Then each
jump keeps the just play score line
still in view while adding one or
two new staff lines below.

3) Zeitboard as Teleprompter
With a few modifications and the
use of a foot pedal or hand device,
Zeitboard can compete with systems
costing thousands of dollars
Only high end system can match
the fact that ¨mirror view¨
can easily provide multiple
monitors. The presenter can look
in different directions and even
walk to a different stage locations,
all the while keep reading smoothly
from devices that are synchronised.

4) Ziteboard Live Event Coordination
I asked about the feasibility of
large numbers watching in ¨mirror view¨.
To protect your servers band width
would you need a new class of connections
which are allowed no response but only
may watch the stream live? To be of
use there would need to be less than
about one second delay.

A) A church with 100 devices could
display the music and text to follow.
B) A video or stage production could
send cues to distant and multiple location.
Ziteboard can keep every thing in time.
C) An opera or large convection can
provide translation that keeps up.

1) I don't have a list in Chrome, only FF. I think this is because I have only one camera and Chrome smart enough to not display a list with one item. Thanks for the info.

2) Enhanced quick access is a bigger task, I will think about it.

3) There is no limitation on how many users can join a board (with or without a Mirror View). Up to 10-15 people is ok. How many users do you need? Lots of users increase our data traffic.
Do I understand well that you have a foot pedal and you can control the up/down key, so basically you can move the canvas up and down by foot. So you want to use Ziteboard as a sheet music?! That would be a cool use-case.

1) Solved
Your fire fox solution made me think
there must be a way for Chrome also.
So you helped me find it:
Click Settings --> Advanced --> Content settings
--> Camera --> (select) Ask before accessing
then a pick list of cameras appears.
The same way is used to pick the microphone.

2) Improve the ¨From quick access" in ¨Insert Image or PDF¨
Use:
Quickly grab and place transparent music notes & signs,
math equations, flow chart symbols, circuit components,
... and ... (see the program dia). I take online music lessons
and am developing a locked background of blank music
staff lines. I need an organized list of about 30 small images
(notes, rests, time signature, clefs) to fetch and place.
Implementation:
The first improvement is to clear and delete all in the list.
Then import by zip or by another way, loading ordered files.
Add the files to quick access in the order packaged.
If this cannot be done, display the list in alphabetic order.
The file name could be numbered and descriptive with
dummy file names to be used to divide the list into categories.
Discussion: This may not be used by many but the community
could develop and contribute sets of teaching images.
This could be great for live teaching or conferencing.

3) How many devices can watch ¨mirrored¨ content once?
My phones show clear readable sheet music, several staffs
at a time. I can use a foot pedal to do the down or up arrow
to advance the music by a partial page, a few staffs, as a
group plays. This could be great for a church service with
music and the service text advancing on multiple devices.

WOW! I do not want to outstay my welcome. So I promise
to now settled down and get to work using and making content
for this exciting project. But keep me in mind as new
things come up.

Hi again, I found something interesting. When Firefox asks for permission it offers a list of available devices. The problem is FF not as stable as Chrome in regard with vidoe chat, still give it a try.

Chrome: You can check the browser's permission by clicking the green lock in the URL address bar. Set Camera and Microphone to allow.

You are very committed!
The Ctrl A Ctrl C trick is great.

I have several devices to test
with inserting a snapshot image
from a specified camera.

1) On my linux with Chromium
Version 62.0.3202.89 (Developer Build)
built on Debian 9.1, running on Debian 9.2 (32-bit)
I have a usb document camera (IPEVO).
It would be cool to select it to insert
a page image. But I get ¨Camera Access Denied¨.
I have shut off the add blocker but how do I give
camera access permission?

2) I have chrome books with a user facing
camera and a usb camera which I wish
to select. I have not tested this yet.

3) I have an android phone to test later.

For settings --> Advanced --> Content -->
I have camera settings asked turned off
